Heron Cay is located on Florida’s “Treasure Coast in Vero Beach. The Treasure Coast received its nickname after a fleet of Spanish ships were shipwrecked in 1715 spilling $14 million in cargo. Vero Beach’s McLarty Museum has on display gold and silver coins salvaged from the sunken Spanish fleet. Though you may not uncover a Spanish Doubloon, you are sure to find a treasure of shells, shark’s teeth and driftwood that has washed ashore. Vero Beach acquired great social stature with the opening of the Windsor Polo Club when then Prince Charles assisted with the inauguration.
At Heron Cay there are numerous activities and social events. The spacious clubhouse host a fitness center, game room, and well stocked library. The tennis courts and shuffleboard court offer a great way to stay active, then take a dip in the swimming pool or relax in the hot tub.
