A resort-style community, Pelican Bay lays on the shores of the Indian River Lagoon. Pelican Bay is located in Micco, on Florida’s Atlantic Coast. The sandy beaches of Brevard County, along with numerous barrier islands, make surfing, snorkeling, swimming, boating and fishing popular activities. The Micco Scrub Sanctuary protects 1322 acres of scrubby flatwoods and mesic flatwoods. Many indigenous species of plants and animals that you will not find anywhere else in the County are sheltered here.
Within Pelican Bay you can enjoy fishing from the community’s private pier, take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool, or get some exercise with water aerobics. The clubhouse is the center of activities. You can play a friendly game of cards, try your hand at billiards. The community dog park is a great place to socialize and meet new neighbors.
