ParkWood Community offer affordable coastal living. Located in the City of Port Orange, ParkWood offers the best of both world, a 55 plus section and an all-age section. The senior section has its own private entrance, clubhouse, swimming pool, shuffleboard court and gazebo. The all-age section contains both a clubhouse, tennis court and a basketball court, along with a picnic area and playground. ParkWood is conveniently located near stores, restaurants, golf courses, beaches, and medical centers.
Port Orange is just south of Daytona Beach, along the banks of the Halifax River. The city offer a wide range of outdoor activities from fishing and boating to hiking and biking. Visit Spruce Creek Park which is famous for its 536-foot boardwalk that begins the 3 mile trail leading to the 15-foot observation tower overlooking the marsh area near Spruce Creek. Here you can also take a Pontoon Boat tour and learn about the eco-systems associated with the blackwater cypress swamp and a history of the area.
