Bay Lake Estates is a pet friendly community located in Nokomis, a small waterfront community on Florida’s West Coast just south of Sarasota. AT Nokomis Beach you can take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico, fish from the pier, launch a kayak or paddleboard. North Jetty Beach offers access to the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway where swimming and shelling are popular. You can view a “window into the past” at Historic Spanish Point, just 7 miles north of Nokomis. This museum and environmental complex features an exhibit of a prehistoric shell mound with remnants of pottery and tools used by the Indians in their daily lives thousands of years ago.
