Southern Breeze is located in Fort Myers, just 5 minutes from white sandy beaches and just a bridge away from the tropical resort, Sanibel Island. The coastal area of Lee County is dotted with keys and is noted for being one of the best places for shell collecting; more varieties of shells are found here than anywhere else in North America. Our community is just minutes away from great fishing, golf courses, shopping and restaurants.
Thomas Edison discovered Fort Myers in the 1880’s. His 14-acre winter estate is nestled between McGregor blvd, which is lined with 2,000 majestic Royal Palms, and the Caloosahatchee River. His home, laboratory, and experimental gardens are open to the public.
Whitin Southern Breeze, there are many activities to enjoy in the 3,300 square foot clubhouse. Residents take part in pot luck dinners, coffee clubs, dances, bingo and much more. Lounge around the large heated swimming pool or join in a game of shuffleboard.
